Chinneck’s practice is influenced by sculpture, architecture and theatre. He collaborates with leading companies across British industry, engineering and construction and strives towards technical, material and aesthetic innovation.

He makes work that is creatively bold but conceptually accessible. By offering the simple pleasures of illusion, humour and spectacle he presents experiences that can be enjoyed by any onlooker irrespective of their cultural experience.  Most recently he has turned a house upside down in Blackfriars and enabled another’s façade to slide down into the street.

Chinneck (b.1986) graduated from Chelsea College of Art and Design in 2007 with a BA.  He lives and works in London.
