The sculpture and writing of Sperryn-Jones explore the processes of making and breaking: a subject which has fascinated her since sustaining multiple fractures to her upper body in 2006. The viewer/participant is given a real experience of the contrast between the pleasure of breaking and the uncomfortable violence of destruction, and their reactions to this form part of the artwork. Sperryn-Jones lives in Surrey and lectures in the UK and internationally.
